On 19 November 2018, Chinese Ambassador to Seychelles H.E. Mme. Guo Wei paid a visit to Ambassador Barry Faure, Secretary of State for Foreign Affairs of Seychelles.
Ambassador Guo said the Chinese Embassy has always been working well with the Department of Foreign Affairs of Seychelles for development of bilateral relations. She will do best throughout her tenure to deepen pragmatic cooperation and enhance friendship between the two countries.
Ambassador Faure extended a warm welcome to Ambassador Guo. He said China and Seychelles are good friends, brothers and partners. Seychelles values and appreciates China's long-term support to its economic and social development. He will make joint efforts with Ambassador Guo to push forward bilateral relations and strengthen cooperation in international affairs.
After the meeting, Ambassador Guo was escorted by Ambassador Faure to a tour of the building of the Department of Foreign Affairs.
