On 20 November 2018, Chinese Ambassador to Seychelles H.E. Mme. Guo Wei met with Mayor David André of Victoria, capital of Seychelles. The two sides had a pleasant discussion on local cooperation between the two countries.

Ambassador Guo thanked the Mayor for his contribution to promoting bilateral people-to-people exchanges and local cooperation. She said China will continue to strengthen friendship between Victoria and Chinese cities. The Embassy will facility local cooperation in tourism, culture, education and other fields as always.

Mayor André briefed the Ambassador on the history and development plan of Victoria. He said the municipal government values its relations with China and is expecting more comprehensive cooperation with Chinese cities.
