On 26 March 2019, Chinese ambassador to Seychelles H.E. Mme. GUO Wei paid a visit to President of Seychelles Danny Faure at the State House. The two sides reviewed the achievements of China-Seychelles relations in recent years and exchanged views on bilateral cooperation in various fields.
Ambassador Guo appreciated the support from President Faure and the government of Seychelles to her and the Chinese Embassy. She said China will work closely with Seychelles to implement the outcome of the 2018 Beijing Summit of the Forum on China-Africa Cooperation to push forward bilateral friendly relations and benefit the two peoples.
President Faure spoke highly of the Ambassador's performance since resumption of office. He stressed that Seychelles attaches great importance to developing relations with China and looks forward to further strengthening exchanges and cooperation between the two countries.
