On May 5, 2026, Chinese Ambassador Ms. Lin Nan and Mr. David Pierre, Minister for Education and Human Resource Development attended the Seeing-off Ceremony for the 5^th cohort of Seychellois teachers traveling to China for TVET program. They both expressed the hope that the teachers would make the most of their time in China, achieve fruitful learning outcomes, and serve as goodwill ambassadors of China-Seychelles exchanges.
