On 18th May 2026, Chinese Ambassador to Seychelles Ms. Lin Nan met with Hon. Alvin Grandcourt, MNA for Grand Anse Praslin and handed over the donation to the District. They exchanged views on deepening cooperation in areas such as zero-carbon islands, clean energy, and agricultural modernization, and reached consensus on enhancing national resilience, improving people's well-being, and injecting new impetus into the development of bilateral relations.
