On 27th May 2026, Chinese Ambassador to Seychelles Ms. Lin Nan met with the Former Vice President of the Republic of Seychelles, Honorary Chairman of the Association for the Promotion of Friendship between Seychelles and China, Mr. Vincent Meriton. They exchanged views on promoting cooperation including trade, tourism, culture and people-to-people exchanges between  China and Seychelles .
