On 29 September 2026, Ambassador Lin Nan attended the China Study Tour Presentation and Confucius Institute Day.  Present at the event were First Lady Veronique Herminie, the Minister for Transport, Ports and Civil Aviation, Ms. Veronique Laporte, and other distinguished guests.

Ambassador Lin encouraged Seychellois students to cherish the experience of their tour to Sichuan, sustain cross-border ties, learn Chinese via the Chinese Bridge competition, and act as youth envoys for cultural exchange.

The event featured a photo exhibition and traditional Chinese cultural activities and concluded in a warm and friendly atmosphere.
